Thanks for the updates, Kevin. I look forward to seeing the new iPods but I am even more excited to see iTunes 8 and the 2.1 firmware. Should be good stuff.

Hey Kevin,

As a media (web/video/design) student, I'm eagerly awaiting new MacBook Pros. Any idea about those?

Last I heard was mid-late September after the student deal ends.

I saw you were building a new blog, no idea it was up yet. The new iTunes sounds great, as does the new iPod news. And no, I'm not bitter that I just bought an iPod, cuz it was 5th gen. Ha! Take that iPod touch!

I'd also like to know about the MacBook Pros. Any news on those being updated?

Are they actually fixing ITunes to where it's not bloatware or are they just going to pile more features on the thing again knowing it runs like crap?

Good stuff, i've been searching the net for more rumors based on the new macbook pro, but this is pretty refreshing. Looking forward to the next update.

I wonder how much will iPod touch users have to pay for the 2.1 update this time.

Oh they better be. I hope this fixes the bug iTunes 7.7.1 brought to my device. It's really pissing me off. All of the 3rd party applications doesn't even run anymore. I can't wait for two weeks.

wow! thanks so much for the update! I wonder what could possibly be in store for iTunes 8.0? One thing that definitely annoys me right now is that I can't transfer my rentals from one computer to another? Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I don't think so?

Hey Kevin - appreciate your inspiring ideas - how have you been lately any stories to tell for an audience?

Lets hope this power saving thing gets underway as far as the idea I feel ThePlanet or someone should revamp their infrastructure to serve and take care of the planet. Any feedback?

Pondering...
Can I just set up a tab at the Apple Store, I mean they already have all of my money. Oh well at least when I'm homeless I'll be able to impress people with my shiny Apple logo stickers.

Thanks again

I'm most excited about a new version of iTunes and iPhone 2.1. I won't buy a new iPod - the iPhone is my iPod.

New subscription option, perhaps? ; )

Seems they got their inspiration from KDDI's "Infobar 2"

I'm so glad you put this out. My 1st gen Nano has begun to give me some problems . The scrolling works and the play button, but everything else is hit or miss. I was gonna go upgrade, but I'll wait for the even newer versions....YAY!!

Right thats all great but come on. i live in the UK and here and iPhone cost £99, how can a a 8GB iPod Touch which cost £199 drop so vast to compete with the iPhone. Is Apple taking a big risk?
